Consultation Time Vampires

"I've only had two consultations so far and both haven't worked out. The first one, he was using something else other that QBO and didn't seem interested in switching over.

The second doesn't use anything other than saving receipts and sending them to her CPA. However, with her I feel like she contacted me more on the level for me to join her business versus seeking my bookkeeping services. She took up about 50 minutes of my time telling me more about her personal life and a slide presentation about her business.

My question is, how do you deal with people who are willing to meet, but take up way too much of your time and never really had any intentions in your services?

Also, what do you do or say to enforce that your consultation doesn't go too long that its now wasting your time? "
