Training Daughters Isn’t Free
"One of my clients has a daughter who will be taking over his bookkeeping. I knew it was coming, as that was the goal for her to graduate HS and college. My fear is - she will need to be trained more in-depth. He’s wanting me to lightly show her the ways, but I feel like I should be compensated if she needs to be taught how to do the bookkeeping. Would you charge a flat fee, hourly, or do you think it’s ridiculous that I want to charge a “training” fee? Curious your thoughts."
