"My first client just reached out to my just started business. He is asking via email my hourly rate without providing any information about the work load. All he said is I am looking for someone to help me get caught up with my books for the past couple of years and help with future monthly reconciliations.
His business is a service based business. What is your suggestion?
Also if I have to stick to an hourly rate, what is a reasonable hourly rate to start with? I don't want to start too low and at the same time I don't want to ask too much."
